Listed but not selling? Here's where your sales are leaking

Going live on Amazon or Flipkart feels like the finish line. For most brands, it's the starting line, and flat sales are almost never a product problem.

It's a strategy problem, not a product problem

When a good product doesn't sell, founders assume the market doesn't want it. Usually the product is fine and the account is leaking sales in places nobody is watching. Fix the leaks and the same product starts moving.

Leak 1: Nobody can find you

If your title and backend keywords don't match how buyers actually search, you stay buried under competitors. Visibility is the first gate, you can't convert traffic you never get. Audit which keywords you rank for, and which ones you're invisible on.

Leak 2: Traffic lands but doesn't buy

Flat images, missing A+ content and unclear copy quietly send shoppers to a rival's listing. Conversion rate is the single biggest lever most brands ignore, a jump from 8% to 12% is a 50% sales increase on the same traffic.

Leak 3: Ad spend with no structure

Running ads on the wrong keywords with no campaign structure burns budget and teaches you nothing. High ACoS isn't bad luck, it's usually a structure problem. Profitable advertising starts with separating what's proven from what's experimental.

Leak 4: No view of the whole picture

Tactics without a plan don't compound. If you don't know your margins, your best-selling variant, or what to fix first, growth stays random. A simple diagnosis, fix, grow loop turns scattered effort into momentum.

The takeaway

Before you change the product or cut the price, find the leak. Nine times out of ten, the sales are already there, waiting behind a fixable problem.
